Vanessa Abbott

Having grown up and gone to school in Cincinnati, I look forward to having the opportunity to run for city council here in my hometown. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Business Degree, and then went on to complete two tours with the United States Army. When I came home, I knew I had to put my knowledge and experience to use, so I opened up a business helping veterans reenter civilian life, get the support they need, and find jobs. My husband Jacob and I have been blessed with two children, Lucy (9) and Samuel (6), as well as our dog, Tater! Having succeeded in my business career, I now feel called upon to help the one place which is the most important to me and my family--Cincinnati. I am running for city council because I love the Queen City, and issues such as the Opioid Epidemic, education funding, and infrastructure concern me for the future of my children and yours.
